A very big thank you to all of you who helped clear Wells city centre, the residential streets and approach roads of litter last weekend.
Whilst many go out as individuals, there are also pairs and groups who work hard to clear larger areas including the bypasses into Wells, “hidden” locations in the town, the tourist areas and even Waitrose car park.
Attached is a photo of our new recruits, Peter Foster and his carer Khule who tackled the High street and Broad street with vigour. (Permission granted for use of image).
Our next organised litter picking event will be in February 2025 but please do continue to get out there in the meantime… I know that many of you are keen to keep on top of it and have your own kit.
