The Mayor, Cllr Jasmine Browne, had a go at playing croquet while visiting the Hidden Gardens of St Thomas Street Wells event on Sunday 9th June to raise funds for local Mental Health Charity, Heads Up, at South Horrington.

More than ten gardens, not visible from the road, were open to the public with teas served in Tor Street Gardens on a warm and sunny afternoon. The event was extremely popular and sold over 600 tickets.

The Mayor would like to thank the residents of St.Thomas Street who opened their beautiful gardens, the Wells City Band for playing in Tor Street Gardens while tea and cake was served and the organisers for a wonderful community event.
