The Mayor of Wells, Councillor Philip Welch, on behalf of Wells City Council and all the citizens of Wells, offer our condolences to Her Majesty The Queen, and also the Royal Family, on the death of her husband and Consort, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
He will long be remembered as someone who dedicated his life to this country in so many ways, and for his commitment and devotion to the Her Majesty The Queen.
The flag at Wells Town Hall will be flown at half-mast as a mark of respect at this sad time.
