Mayor's Diary 18/08/21

The redesigned garden at The Lawrence Centre was officially opened by the Mayor on 16th August and has been shortlisted for a Dobbies Garden Centre Community Grant. Only one project will get a grant and it is down to a public vote.

The Mayor praised volunteer Rebecca Edwards who redesigned the garden and worked tirelessly to create creating a lovely place for the vulnerable people who will use the centre to sit outside in good weather.

He also praised the Wells Lions for providing financial support and their member Paul Marsh who made and fitted a new gate as well as renovating two benches.
