    Somerset Council encourages No Mow May.

    Gardeners are encouraged to lock up their lawnmowers and let grasses grow to help pollinators and wildlife.

    Charity Plantlife, which is behind the annual campaign, also wants gardeners to mow less and at different lengths and frequencies through the summer to create a mosaic of habitats helping wildflowers, bees and other insects.

    Can you do your bit? All over England councils and landowners are joining in No Mow May.
