The Wells Classic Motorcycle 13th Annual Tortoise and Hare Run was attended by Cllr Jasmine Browne, Mayor of Wells on Sunday 21st July. The Mayor was given a tour of all the entrants before waving the bikes off on their way at 9am. Prize giving was at the end of the day with a special award for Mayor’s choice - a 1934 Triumph in beautiful restored condition. The Mayor would like to thank the event organisers and Marshalls for the invitation. Since 2011 the Wells Classic Motorcycle Club have raised an amazing £37,869.95 for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance - a vital emergency service for our community and beyond.
