St Cuthbert's Church in Wells staged its annual Crib Festival from Friday, 13th December to Sunday, 15th December, offering visitors the chance to experience a stunning display of nativity scenes.
The festival, which has become a tradition in our city, showcases a brilliant variety of cribs, from traditional and handmade designs to more contemporary and quirky interpretations. One was even made entirely out of cheese!
The event is one of the highlights of the season in Wells and an opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit in the beautiful surroundings of our City’s wonderful St. Cuthbert's church.
The Mayor, Councillor Jasmine Browne, attended the opening of the Crib Festival with Wells Town Crier, Mr. Len Sweales.
