The Mayor, Councillor Jasmine Browne, is pictured here presenting a gift of a hamper of Wells and Somerset produce to Natalie Bauernschmitt, Mayor of our partner city of Bad Durkheim in the Pfalz Palatinate Region of Germany. The hamper, all containing produce which was purchased from local, independent businesses was presented on behalf of the City of Wells and the community of the Wells Twinning Association. The Mayor of Wells gave a speech in German to the hosts and thanked them for the 41 years of friendship between our two cities
